At Stoke Place we have the most wonderful location in which to hold a Private Event. From garden parties, to small dinners, to big sit down dinners, to large country-house parties taking over the entire house, Stoke Place is able to accommodate any type of celebration. Choose from any of our 7 individually designed rooms in which to have your drinks reception, dinner, dancing or relaxing and for those wanting to stay the night we have 29 bedrooms all available to hire. We have the capacity to serve a delicious private dinner or lunch for anything between 10–200 guests - bespoke menus and drinks lists can be arranged with our chef and events team prior to your event.
Enjoying all Stoke Place has to offer is something else we promote - our beautiful grounds are available for everyone to enjoy whatever the occasion. The hammocks on the lawn invite you to laze away a summer afternoon, the giant chess pieces and the croquet set are there for the playing and the grounds offer a beautiful walk behind the 6 acre lake, via the lamas and back to the house.
Stoke Place has developed a reputation for itself as a country-house party venue. Our own parties have appeared in Sunday Times Style, Harpers Bazaar, Guardian and Evening Standard to name but a few publications. We throw vintage house parties which take advantage of bedrooms, the grounds, all of the public spaces and allow the kitchen to show off their variety and expertise (The Game Pies were Fantastic at our Tweed party on the 22nd Jan, while the multicoloured Jelly at Colourscape on the 28th August was something to behold!).
