Carols on the Green
Stoke Poges Parish Council's annual carols
are taking place in the Village Centre car park on Saturday 10
December from 5pm. Santa on his sleigh will lead a procession
along Rogers Lane, up Duffield Lane, into Hazell Way,
Pennylets Green, Bunby Road and back to the Village Centre.
Returning at 6.30 pm, there will be carols and seasonal songs,
performed by a people's choir led by John Orchard.
There will also be a Christmas market selling craft items, the
Scouts' barbecue, mulled wine, Santa's grotto and more. The
Social Club bar will provide warming refreshments
and somewhere comfortable to chat with friends.
Follow the event with a hearty dinner at Stoke Place.
