Guided Cycle Tour of Historic Stoke Poges

Join our exclusive, guided 6.1 mile cycle tour of the ancient parish of Stoke Poges, led by our qualified ride leaders.

See 23 listed buildings including: four impressive, country estate houses, including the splendid Stoke Park Mansion, built by John Penn; the Elizabethan Manor House; the historic St Giles' church, dating from Saxon times and the inspiration for Thomas Gray's Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard; the Gray memorial and his summer residence (formerly West End House); the 18th century alms houses; the former parish workhouse and schools. Our carefully planned route takes you along picturesque, leafy lanes offering stunning views of the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside.

The tour costs £30 each when there are two guests and £20 each for three or more guests. We have four bikes available for complementary use. If there are more than four of you, please contact reception regarding hiring more bikes at a supplementary charge.
